Lemon Drop Necklace

Warm all the way through. Butter yellow at the hinge lightening to cream through the middle, then a dark chocolate border running right around the edge, which is a sharper line than most shells give you. Broad, even ribs and a clean, unbroken rim.

The tassel hangs in front of the shell rather than behind it, three strands of fine chain falling from the bail across the face and past the bottom edge, so the metal picks up the line of the ribs and keeps going. It hangs from a substantial gold cable chain.

Warm gold on warm shell. Good against a tan, better against black.
