The Rancher Necklace

A pale one. Cream and oyster through the ribs with a faint pink and green shimmer where the nacre catches, and a scatter of soft gold speckling low on the shell. Most scallops come up with colour. This one came up with shine.

Six strands of black suede fall from behind the shell, each studded with small round fresh water pearls set at different heights so the fringe reads as scattered rather than lined up. The cord doubles at the neck and fastens with a gold extender, so it sits high and close.

Black, white, and a bit of shine. It goes to dinner.
