Barred rather than speckled. This shell runs in clean alternating stripes of cocoa and cream from the hinge out to the rim, the pattern almost regular enough to look drawn, which is unusual. The nacre underneath gives it a faint warm glow in daylight.
Three different types of gold chains at three lengths: a fine curb, a flat paperclip, and a slim cable, layered from one clasp so the whole thing goes on in a single movement. The shell hangs from the middle strand and sits just above the collarbone, with the longest chain arcing below it.
