The Gruene Necklace

$85.00

Named for Gruene, the Hill Country town where the oldest dance hall in Texas still fills up every weekend with live music, cold beer, and boots on worn wood floors. The Gruene pairs a scallop shell found on Martha’s Vineyard with a little honky-tonk edge. The shell is smoky gray and taupe with hints of lilac along the ridges, and its pale crown catches the light.

It hangs from layered strands of slim black cord twisted with a sparkling gold chain, so you get the stacked look in one piece. Below the shell, a black cord tassel swings with every step. Wear it with a navy wrap top, a black blazer, or a white tank and denim.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece, so the necklace you see is exactly the one you’ll receive.

Put it on last and take it off first. Keep it away from water, lotions, and perfume, and store it flat so the strands and tassel don’t tangle.
