The Drippy Necklace

A great piece that accentuates my obsession lately: the DRIP. Seven small discs of mussel shell, each one perfectly carved into a round disc. Cream, pale sea green, mottled brown with the marbling that shows up where a shell has weathered unevenly. Between them, short lengths of fine chain hang loose, so the whole thing drips in gold.

Two strands sit close together at the base of the throat, near choker height. The discs and fringe fall from the lower strand and catch light every time you turn your head.

Small pieces, big effect. Good with a bare neck and a tan.
