The Terracotta Cuff Necklace

The best pink I've found. Terracotta deepening at the edges, rose through the middle, with pale cream streaks running down the ribs where the color thinned out as the shell grew. It's the color of the Aquinnah cliffs in late light, which is not a coincidence: the same iron in the clay runs through the water these come out of.

The collar is deliberately minimal, a fine gold wire hoop that hooks at the back and sits light on the throat, so nothing distracts from the shell. Rigid rather than draped, one size with enough give to get on and off.
