A small pale one, almost white, with the faintest blush of apricot running down the ribs and a clean unbroken edge. After a run of dark and speckled shells, this is the quiet one.
The chain is deliberately mismatched: freshwater pearls set into one side, wider flat links on the other, fine cable in between. The shell hangs at the front with three lengths of delicate chain falling below it, weighted with small gold beads so they hang straight instead of tangling. An extender at the back adjusts the fit.
