Eel Pond Necklace

Almost entirely cream, which is how bay scallops come up when they've spent a long time bleaching in the sun. Fine even ribbing all the way out, with a small plum flush at the hinge and a faint amber wash through the middle where a little color held on.

One long chain, doubled over so it sits in two tiers: a shorter loop high at the throat and a longer one carrying the shell below it. An extender at the back adjusts both at once. You get the layered look without owning two necklaces or untangling them afterward.
